How often will a recipient be reminded?

At most once per card per reminder window, so recipients get a helpful nudge, not a drip campaign. Editing a window value never re-sends to a card that was already reminded for it.

How are reminders delivered?

Through your connected Klaviyo account, so reminders match the rest of your email. When Klaviyo is not connected, BatchCard sends them using a fixed template branded with your logo and accent color. Every reminder includes an unsubscribe link.

What is the minimum balance setting?

It keeps tiny leftovers from triggering emails. Balance reminders skip cards below an amount you choose, and you can set it to zero to remind on any remaining balance.

Cards get spent, not forgotten

Your reminder email goes out 30 days before a card expires and again at 7 days, so recipients spend the balance instead of losing it. Add or change the windows to fit your store. Each card is reminded at most once per window, so a nudge never turns into spam.

How It Works

Turn on reminders in Settings

Enable expiration reminders, balance reminders, or both from the Reminders section in Settings. Reminders are off until you turn them on, so nothing sends without your say-so.

Set your windows and threshold

Choose the days before expiration for each reminder and, for balance reminders, how long to wait and the minimum balance worth emailing about.

Reminders send on their own

BatchCard checks daily and sends each due reminder through your connected Klaviyo account, or through BatchCard email when Klaviyo is not connected. No calendar entries, no manual sends.

Recipients act before the deadline

Each reminder links the recipient back to redeem the card, with an unsubscribe link so they can opt out.
